Riley - CH Targa Conquest
Riley finished her championship exclusively shown in the Bred-by-exhibitor class. She won a handful of single points as a puppy, and at her last show in puppy trim, she won Best of Variety and a Non-Sporting Group First for a four point major under judge Joe Walton. At Riley’s first show in adult trim, she won Winners Bitch and Best of Variety over several specials to earn another four point major! Needing only a few single points to finish, she went on to win Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex over specials for a five point major at the Poodle Club of Central Indiana under judge Dr. Steve Keating
Riley’s success carried over to the whelping box. From her first litter, three puppies completed their AKC championship: Valor – CH Targa Highspirits Indomitable – finished at 10 months old; Jimmy – BIS GCHS Targa The Conqueror – won a Best in Show and numerous Group Firsts; lastly, Etta – GCH Targa At Last – finished exclusively from the Bred-By Exhibitor class and went on to win multiple group placements in limited showing.
